Verse 1: We’re walking, in sand. We’re laughing, minds alike, we’re staying sane, we have each other.

Chorus: Those who choose to have. Those who choose to have unlike minds, most likely will go insane. We stay sane. We promised to each other we won’t change, we won’t turn our backs on each other.

Verse 1: Footsteps all around me, something following, nothings there. Run and Hide but they always find you.

Verse 2: Pull the covers over my face, try to hide, they come and seek and always win the game. It’s a never ending game of Hide and Seek.

Verse 1: Broken Sanity. Unspoken voices speak of nothing, Lost but not found. Seen but unseen. I hear them, but my sanity is lost in the web of lost voices of nothing, Spoken by no one.

Friends make life

One day all of us will die,
it's something we all know,
But while others will say their goodbye,
I will treasure life as I grow.

On the many paths that I walk down,
Even as life comes to an end,
I wont worry or show a frown,
But will enjoy life with a friend.

What if we once had wings

Just the other night I had dream where I could fly,
Many people have these same dreams,
So I sit here wondering why,
Maybe life's not what it seems.

One day long long ago,
Did we know how to fly,
What could have caused us to lose our wings,
What did we do and why?

Did we give them up to help those in need,
If so was it in vain,
Was it a kind and noble deed,
Or did we cause others pain?

Did we use our wings to rule the earth,
To watch over all below,
Or did we start as tyrants from our birth,
Staying cruel as we did grow,

Did we lose them for the good of all,
To help save many from the knives,
Or did the ones below rise against us causing us to fall,
Taking our wings and leaving us only with our lives.

Kind? cruel? merciful?
We may never know,
But I don't find it hard to believe,
That we had wings a long long time ago.

So alone

There is darkness all around me,
There are shadows everywhere.

As i move through my life in darkness,
I feel so all alone.

Maybe I just need a friend,
Someone to help me through my life.

Someone to help me find my way,
I don't know where I'm going.

I feel so lost and all alone,
Why am I even here.

What is love?

Is love like a gentle dream
Or a broken violent river

Is love something you look for
Or does it sneak up unbidden

You search for love, it hides
You run from it, it pursues

You try and try until you realize
It takes two, me and you, to find love

Past, Present, Future

Times have changed,
Friends long gone,
The seasons come and go.

Some friends parted on sad terms,
Some friends we still hold dear,
We have new ones we have made as we went along.

We are always making new friends as future comes,
Sometimes we try to leave the past behind,
But the past makes us who we are, we should always hold it dear.

Fields of Death

Where am I? Why am I here,
I look around and all I see is death,
Plains of destruction stretching as far as the eye can see.

I start out towards the horizon,
Seconds pass, then minutes, hours,
Days, weeks, months, years.

I dont know how long it has been,
Nothing but destruction where ever i look,
A never ending expanse of death.

Finally reaching the end of the wasteland,
I look around and there is beauty everywhere,
But I have seen what all this beauty will become so I have to ask.

After seeing so much death can you still treasure life?

An angel fell to earth

An angel looked down from heaven,
Watching the world below,
She watched and watched then fell in love,
Down to earth she decided to go.

All the other angels stood and watched as she left,
Told her she could never come back,
That if she went she would lose her wings,
But she knew if she went she would find what she did lack.

She went down to earth and was striped of her wings,
They where harshly ripped from her in a violent wrath,
Causing her great pain and bringing her to tears,
But she held fast to her belief and stayed true to her path.

When she got to earth she took a look around,
Seeing the beauty all around and everywhere did roam,
She moved around from place as all the years passed by,
She did not age she could not be seen but soon she felt alone.

She searched and she wandered for a place to stay,
Maybe she could find a friend someone like her in the world,
She hoped one day she would not have to be alone,
Now she wandered not from joy but out of a need to be heard

Everywhere she looked there was none who could see her,
The joy she had once felt was long forgot these seeds she had sown,
Only sorrow and loneliness where left till she faded away,
Never seen and her existence never known.

Sorrow

Life holds so much sorrow,
I cant think about tomorrow,
Maybe it would be better,
If i just fade away.
